The material in permitted wheel shall be equivalent of manufacturers’ type 2 or Elpex Rosa PU 2. The organizer will perform compliance checks prior to start as well as after the finish. If the wheels do not follow the requirements the skier will be disqualified.
Swedish Ski Federation recommendations for rollerskis:
We recommend that the organizers only approve wheels that have an imprint from a manufacturer. Wheels without an imprint are to be found, but they are most likely very old. Nowadays serious rollerski manufacturers have visible imprints on the wheels regarding the resistance.
All the approve wheels from respective manufacturer are listed below. For example for Swenor n.2-3-4 is approved. Standard wheels are marked “2”, but the slower wheels “3” and “4” are also permitted to race with.
Further manufacturers can be added to the list later.
Compliance checks will be conducted prior to start and after the finish. At least one of the wheels on each ski must have anti reverse bearing.
Approved rollerskis will be provided for the best ranked skiers in Alliansloppet. In case you have FIS-points this should be submitted in the registration form which will determine the seeding group. In case you are missing FIS-points, simply provide results from other races according to the registration form. Type of ski binding also needs to be entered along with the registration. The list of athletes who will be provided skis from the organizer will be published at latest one week prior to Alliansloppet. It’s the skiers and team leaders’ duty to obtain this information themselves.
