WHAT IS A VIRTUAL CHALLENGE?

A virtual race is a competition where participants challenge themselves on a limited period of time (May 15-June 15) wherever they are around the world to complete a specific goal. For example: reach a certain distance or positive climb.

The participant’s activity is registered on their GPS watch or app and summed up when the activity is completed. Of course, you can complete the training sessions in either team or solo.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE?

Gran Canaria Virtual Challenge runs from 15 May to 15 June 2021 and it is of course possible to register at any time during the competition. This means that you decide how fast and in how many training/activity you want to complete the challenge.

It is free to participate in the competition, registration is made via RaceID platform.

During the challenge, the participants register their activities on their GPS watch or app. After the competition, the participants log in to their RaceID personal account  and report their altitude meters and/or distance and paste the link from the training session  (Strava, Suunto, Polar, Garmin, Activity Link ..).
